Rudolph's Barbecue Sauce: My Quest For Perfection

Barbecue (also barbeque, BBQ and barbie) is a method and apparatus for char grilling food in the hot smoke of a wood fire, usually charcoal fueled. In the United States, to grill is to pork tenderloin gas grill in this manner quickly, while barbecue is typically a much slower method utilizing less heat than grilling, attended to over an extended period of several hours.

A fun food that can be used in a variety of contexts and is commonly used in Mexican cuisines is the flat bread. Use a lean boneless pork loin slow cooker fillet and flash fry in groundnut oil and add minced garlic and soy. If you prefer add a spicy tomato sauce to this. It cooks quickly and can be rolled up in the flat bread and eaten at your convenience.

I always preheat my oven to between 350 and 375 degrees. Cooking times will vary based on eating preferences. Anywhere from 15-25 minutes is going to have the roast pork done without killing the texture and flavor, but if you do go to twenty-five minutes, I strongly recommend using the 350 degree setting.

Over the years I have found that the longer this cooks, the better it becomes. We highly recommend allowing this to cook on LOW in the crock pot pork fillet for about hours.

What will I see? This medieval tournament has been operating in Kissimmee since 1983. In addition to seeing the actual tournament complete with knights and horses, guests can go through the Medieval Life Village Museum on the property. There are ten cottages that show much of how life was in medieval times and guests will be allowed to tour the buildings before dinner and the tournament show.

There are lots of comfort foods besides s'mores that you can use. Chips, M&M's, nuts, candy or chex mix are easy to do. In cooler weather, hot cider or hot chocolate fit the bill. Remember, though, that drinking beverages this close to bedtime will probably cause a need to use the bathroom during the night. It's not the same as home; you have to get out of a sleeping bag and find your way to the outhouse or latrine. It's just something to be aware of.

Plan your meals in advance and shop for what you need. So that you've always got something that's easy to put together for a healthy, tasty meal. Things like chicken breasts, pork fillet, salmon steaks. Have a selection of veg in your freezer; potatoes, rice (brown or Basmati), wholewheat pasta, and couscous in your pantry and you have the basis of several easy, healthy meals. Use spices and herbs for flavour as opposed to salt.
